The Local Leaders Circle was born of my passion for developing local leaders to build strong organizations. This small supportive group gathers, connects and grows local leaders by allowing them to share knowledge and skills, build authentic connections and cultivate their leadership style.

The Local Leaders Circle is for you if:

You want to communicate authentically and connect with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
You feel pressured to deliver results but worry about burning out yourself or your staff.
You appreciate the camaraderie and insights from trusted peers facing similar challenges and opportunities.

a confidential, supportive circle of up to nine leaders.
executive to mid-level leaders from a variety of fields and development levels, offering diverse perspectives.
a place where your facilitator and coach guides learning and discussion on topics such as operationalizing your values, accountability and goal setting, building trust, how to have difficult conversations and more.

About Your Faciliator & Coach

Hello! I’m Jalene Case, and I own a Newport-based consulting and coaching company focused on growing leaders and teams. I love supporting the community and am in my 7th year of facilitating leadership development in the Leadership Lincoln program, offered by the Newport Chamber for the past 35 years.
As a credentialed Coach and Facilitator, my specialty is working with leaders who are eager to hone their skills and lean into their leadership style. As a result of our work together, my clients become better leaders, better communicators, and better at reaching meaningful goals.

When You Join the Circle

We meet throughout the year at a pace that balances interaction, learning, and rest — so you can grow without adding overwhelm. We gather on the third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 am.

Our Schedule

January – Open Enrollment

Annual opportunity for new members to join.
A complimentary 90-minute Zoom Circle is offered for new members to experience the group.
Ongoing members can take a break or opt to attend this complimentary Circle.

February – In-Person Kickoff

A 2-hour in-person gathering brings new and returning members together to connect and set intentions for the year.

Location: Health Education Building in Newport

March to June – Growth Sessions

90-minute monthly Zoom Circles focused on different leadership topics.
Members may sign up in advance to be in the Root & Rise Seat—an opportunity to share a real challenge and receive support, ideas, and perspectives from the Circle.

July & August – Summer Break

No meetings. Time to rest and have some fun before we reconvene in the fall.

September - Reconnect

A 2-hour in-person session to reconnect after summer and renew our focus for the final part of the year.

October to December – Growth Sessions

90-minute monthly Zoom Circles focused on meaningful leadership themes.
Optional Root & Rise Seat opportunities continue.

Assessment Tool

We use the TTI Success Insights TriMetrix Assessment to provide a common language that deepens our understanding of ourselves and each other. The assessment tool measures:

Behaviors—how you do what you do
Motivators—why you do what you do
Emotional Intelligence—how you react

If we’ve already worked together and you have an assessment report, you can use that. No investment needed! If you do not have a report from me, you’ll need to purchase the assessment plus a 60-minute review session.

Special offer for Circle members is $450, a $200 savings.

Circle Investment

Your personal investment begins with committing the time and energy it takes to be part of a small, motivated group of leaders.

Your financial investment is $2,250 annually or $277 monthly for 9 months.
