The environment we build for ourselves—both externally and internally—influences how we show up and engage in our lives. Look around you. As you take in your surroundings, how do you feel? That feeling will follow you into whatever you’re doing next.
New to this blog? Here's the scoop:
On August 10, 2015, my husband Keith and I took off on our motorcycles for a 2-ish year journey from Oregon to the southern tip of South America. During this time, I'm dedicating this blog to the inner journey taking place as a result of our adventure.
This video was created on November 5, 2015, day 87 on the road.
A bit about this video:
I'm accustomed to having a body that is able to do, pretty much, anything I ask it to do. This trip has humbled me. Traveling is teaching me to stop assuming, and start listening more closely to my personal needs. My body has been talking to me but, honestly, I've been ignoring it. I expect it to perform the way it did at home. I don't want to be a wimp. I want to physically do what I want to do, how I want to do it. That attitude is not working.
Here are some questions to ponder about your body's voice:
Is your body trying to tell you something these days?
How are you responding?
What would it look like if your response was nurturing and kind?
Best energies to you AND your body!
